Unwrap and wash the stems, and then trim the stems ends at a 45 degree angle to help water absorption. Get rid of any foliage that will end up below the water line of your vase; this will only divert valuable hydration away from the stems.

Use a clean vase or container with fresh water, and change the water every few days. A typical head of freesia will have five or six flowers - remove individual wilting flowers to prolong the overall lifespan of your bouquet.

As with all flowers, avoid drafts, heat sources and direct sunlight as much as possible. Freesia enjoy relatively cool temperatures.

Order flowers before 3pm for next working day delivery. You can also select a future date if you want to plan ahead for a special day. Saturday and Sunday delivery will incur a small surcharge. Your flowers will be delivered before 6pm, or you can upgrade to a pre-1pm delivery for a small surcharge.

We offer standard delivery to the vast majority of UK postcodes, Monday to Friday, with a small extra fee for weekend deliveries. For some areas, such as off-shore postcodes or the Highlands, there may be a small surcharge on standard prices to ensure next-day delivery where the standard service would take too long.
