Spinners and weavers of traditional-designed tapestry blankets, bedspreads, knee rugs, throws, floor and travel rugs, scarves, shawls, hand-knitted arran and ties are sold at the mill’s shop at bargain prices.
Rhos Llawr CWRT National Nature Reserve
The is just a 7-mile drive away from Llanllwni and is nestled in the base of the Clettwr Valley. Its landscape is scraped and shaped by glaciers, where evidence of the last Ice Age can be seen everywhere. Among the most striking landforms here are the remains of the pingos, which were once small hills with summits that collapsed when ice melted. This site carries international importance as it holds one of the best populations of the marsh fritillary butterfly in Wales.
