Traboch Castle – a ruined L-plan tower house which was first recorded by name in a rental in 1303-4. The Boyds of Kilmarnock received the castle from King Robert the Bruce for their services during the Battle of Bannockburn.

In 1941, the land passed to William, Earl of Douglas, and later on to the Boswells of Auchinleck. The 17th century saw Chalmers of Gadgirth and Reid of Barskimming holding parts of the barony of Trabboch.

Trabboch Station – was situated on the Ayr and Cumnock Branch of the Glasgow and South Western Railway. It was opened in 1872 and closed on 10 September 1951.

Trabboch Lochs – formed due to the flooded mineworkings of Drumdow Colliery during the late 19th century. The Loch of Trabboch was an ancient glacial loch which was later a curling pond and which is now a wetland that is important for birdlife.

The Shaw Kirk or Stair Free Church – built in 1843-4 and is now in ruins. It's located close to the Shaw Burn on the parish boundary. It was abandoned in 1956 when a new church was made at Drongan and following the demolition of miner's rows. The manse still stands, however, on the road that runs up to Trabboch Burn.
